The external scraper automatic self-cleaning filter housing is an advanced filtration system designed for applications involving high levels of impurities, viscous liquids, and continuous production processes. It uses a scraper mounted on the outside of the filter screen to continuously or periodically remove particles, contaminants, and deposits from the filter surface. The collected impurities are then automatically discharged through the drain outlet, eliminating the need for frequent manual filter cleaning.

Working Principle
The unfiltered liquid enters the filter through the inlet. During filtration, contaminants in the liquid accumulate on the stainless-steel filter screen and gradually build up.
- Automatic Cleaning
When the preset filtration time is reached, the automatic cleaning cycle starts. The electrical control system sends a signal to activate the motor. The motor rotates the drive shaft, causing the scraper blades to remove contaminants accumulated on the filter screen. When the preset cleaning time is reached, the motor stops and the drain valve opens to discharge the contaminants.
- Manual Cleaning
The motor operates continuously and rotates the drive shaft. The scraper blades continuously remove contaminants from the filter screen. When the preset time is reached, the drain valve opens and the contaminants are discharged.
- Differential-Pressure Cleaning (Optional)
When the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet reaches the preset value, the motor starts. The motor rotates the drive shaft, causing the scraper blades to remove contaminants accumulated on the filter screen. When the preset cleaning time is reached, the motor stops.
