Air slide hoses—also known as aeration hoses—are high-performance air-permeable hoses used in pneumatic conveying systems. They are primarily employed for the transport and discharge of dry powdered materials such as cement, alumina, fly ash, mineral powder, and lime. Their operating principle involves introducing compressed air through the permeable layer into the powder, causing the material to enter a “fluidized state”; this reduces frictional resistance, thereby enabling continuous, stable, and energy-efficient conveying.
Manufactured with a refined finishing process, the fabric features a smooth, even surface that promotes uniform airflow and minimizes localized airflow resistance.
Woven as a single integrated fabric with a dense, compact structure, it is free from loosening or delamination, providing high overall mechanical strength.

Structural Features
Our air slide hose, one side air permeable while other side PU-coated.

PU (Polyurethane) Coated Side
Completely blocks air leakage to ensure the compressed air generates a directional fluidizing flow, while significantly enhancing the material’s external abrasion resistance.

Uncoated Side (Air-Permeable Side)
Features a single-sided air-permeable design that ensures uniform and stable airflow penetration. By optimizing air-flow distribution, it enables the material to easily enter a fluidized state and establish an ideal flow pattern, effectively preventing the formation of dead zones (air pockets) during transport.

Common Application Scenarios
- Bulk Cement Trailer Discharging
Installed at the bottom of bulk trailers. When inflated by an air compressor, it fluidizes and discharges dry bulk cement rapidly and efficiently.
- Fluidization Silos & Bins
Installed as open-type aeration units on the sloped conical bottoms of storage bins to aid the withdrawal of stubborn or dry free-flowing materials.
- Cement Vessel Cargo Holds
Covers the sloped bottom of a ship’s cargo hold. Rotary piston blowers feed oil-free compressed air through the panels, causing the bulk cement to behave like a liquid and flow seamlessly to the lowest discharge gates.
