The snap band is a metal retaining ring used in dust collection systems to secure the top of a filter bag to the tube sheet or bag mounting plate. It ensures a tight seal between the filter bag and the housing to prevent dust leakage and maintain filtration efficiency. Provides a large contact area, creating a surface-to-surface tight fit against the cell plate hole. When wrapped within the bag cuff (often layered with rubber, felt, or filter fabric), it delivers the most superior sealing performance. It is currently the standard for modern pulse-jet baghouses, especially for long-bag pulse-jet filters.
