Acrylic Needle-Punched Felt Filter Bags for Dust Collection

Special chemical treatment prevents fiber degradation caused by moisture and condensation, ensuring stable performance in high-humidity environments.

Acrylic fibers provide excellent resistance to acidic gases such as SO₂, SO₃, HCl, and HF, as well as various organic solvents, making them suitable for corrosive flue gas applications.

The uniform pore structure allows smooth airflow, reducing pressure drop and lowering energy consumption.

High tensile strength and abrasion resistance enable the filter bags to withstand pulse-jet cleaning and continuous airflow impact.

The smooth filter surface minimizes dust adhesion, resulting in efficient cleaning, lower operating pressure, and longer filter life.

Description

Filmedia® is a professional manufacturer of dust collection filter bags. We supply diversified material filter bags with customized sizes and surface treatments, serving industrial dust removal systems across global industries with reliable quality and full technical support.

Base Fabric Material – Acrylic Needle Felt

Acrylic needle-punched felt is a non-woven filtration material manufactured from homopolymer polyacrylonitrile fibers through processes including opening, carding, web formation, and needle punching. The fibers exhibit excellent chemical stability and strong resistance to organic solvents, oxidizing agents, inorganic acids, and organic acids. Furthermore, following a special water- and oil-repellent treatment, the material offers superior hydrolysis resistance for medium-temperature filtration applications, effectively addressing the issue of filter bag degradation and failure in high-humidity flue gas environments.

 Advanced Post-Treatment Processes

To adapt to various extreme industrial applications, Filmedia® offers versatile surface finishes and chemical treatments:

Post-Treatment ProcessProcess Effect & Target Application
Singeing & CalenderingIncreases surface density and smoothness, significantly reducing dust adhesion and optimizing dust cake release performance.
PTFE ImpregnationEnvelopes the fibers in a protective PTFE layer, greatly enhancing resistance to acids, alkalis, oxidation, and chemical corrosion.
Anti-Static Fiber BlendingIntegrates conductive fibers into the felt structure to safely dissipate static charges, making it ideal for high-resistivity dust and potentially explosive environments.
PTFE Membrane LaminationCreates a microporous surface filtration layer that achieves true surface filtration, increasing filtration efficiency to ≥99.9% and enabling ultra-low emissions (≤5 mg/m³), while effectively preventing bag blinding and improving dust release.
