Mechanical performance remains highly stable under ambient and medium temperatures (below 130°C), with a peak instantaneous temperature resistance of up to 150°C.
The three-dimensional network structure formed by the needle-punching process ensures high air permeability and low operational resistance, achieving a collection efficiency of over 99.9% for particles above 0.5 μm.
Features a smooth surface and exhibits robust resistance to most acids, alkalis, salts, and chloride ions.
Low cost, easy to clean and regenerate, quick to install and replace, and offers a long service life.
Description

Filmedia® is a professional manufacturer of dust collection filter bags. We supply diversified material filter bags with customized sizes and surface treatments, serving industrial dust removal systems across global industries with reliable quality and full technical support.
Base Fabric Material – Polyester Needle Felt
Polyester Filter Bags are industrial filtration materials primarily manufactured from polyester needle felt. Produced through a nonwoven needle-punching process, the filter media consists of finely interlocked fibers arranged in a three-dimensional structure with uniformly distributed pores. The filter material features high porosity, excellent air permeability, versatile applicability, and strong chemical stability. It is suitable not only for filtering ambient-temperature gases but also for handling acidic and alkaline corrosive gases. In addition, it can be used for the filtration of liquids such as water and oil. Thanks to its reliable filtration performance and durability, polyester filter bags are considered an ideal filtration solution for solid-liquid separation and dust collection applications under normal temperature operating conditions.

Post-processing
To adapt polyester filter bags to more complex industrial conditions, polyester filter media typically undergoes the following advanced post-treatment processes.

Membrane Lamination
A microporous membrane is laminated onto the surface of the filter bag, which can intercept ultrafine particles of PM2.5 level, achieving ultra-low emissions. The surface is also extremely smooth, making it easier to clean.

Antistatic Treatment
By incorporating conductive fibers or performing surface antistatic processing, it can be used to collect flammable and explosive dust (such as coal dust) and reduce the risk of fire and explosion.

Composite Lamination
By laminating different types of fiber fabrics together, the synergistic advantages of each material can be utilized for dust filtration in special and complex scenarios.

Waterproof and Oil-proof
By altering the surface tension of the fibers, moisture and oil can be prevented from adhering, effectively avoiding the “bag clogging” phenomenon caused by condensation.
Applications
Polyester filter bags have become a leader in the industrial filtration field due to their excellent performance. With the advancement of technology and continuous improvement of processes, their performance will be further enhanced, making a greater contribution to industrial development.

Steel & Metallurgy Industry
- Blast Furnace Gas Dedusting & Converter Gas Purification.
Effectively handles high dust loads (50–100 g/m³); the waterproof and oil-resistant filter bags effectively block moisture and trace amounts of oily substances in coal gas.

Cement Industry
- Kiln Hood & Kiln Tail Dedusting
Formulated to handle flue gases containing alkaline substances (such as CaO, K₂O).
- Coal Grinding System Dedusting
Manages high-humidity flue gas laden with coal dust.

Power Industry
- Coal-Fired Boiler & Biomass Boiler Flue Gas Treatment.
Successfully copes with flue gases containing SO₂, NOx, chloride ions, and water vapor. The membrane-coated structure effectively traps micro-dust particles above 0.3 μm to meet modern ultra-low industrial emission standards.
