PPS filter bag is a filter material made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) fiber and manufactured and processed according to other high-temperature resistant filter felt production processes. It is one of the main varieties of high-temperature-resistant filter materials. PPS needle-punched filter media has excellent performance in the following applications. PPS is also called polyphenylene sulfide fiber. PPS filter is a new type of high temperature resistant fiber developed in the United States and introduced to the market in 1983. The physical properties of organic fibers are significantly better than inorganic fibers. Polyphenylene sulfide fiber is another high-functional fiber among high-temperature resistant organic fibers in recent years. PPS filter bag not only can withstand high temperature but also has the unparalleled excellent corrosion resistance of other high-temperature resistant fibers.

Application of PPS(Ryton) Filter Bag:

PPS often used in coal-fired boilers, but also for waste incinerator, coke oven, kiln, chemical drying process of flue gas purification process. In carbon black, powder collection, pneumatic conveying, chemical, cement plants, power plants and so on.

Features of PPS(Ryton) Filter Bag:

The acid and alkali resistance is Excellent. Meanwhile, PPS fiber does not burn, neither does it support burning. The temperature resistance is up to 200℃ (392℉). The resistance to oxidation is poor. So the working environment requires the oxygen content less than 14%(Vol.), and the oxynitride content is less than 600mg/Nm³. The higher oxygen contents the lower working temperature.
